It's Time for Season Ten! | (Sign ups are CLOSED)

Hey, everyone!

First, I want to thank Willow for hosting last season. It was my first season, and I was crazy busy, but Willow was really patient with me, and explained everything very thoroughly, and was also incredibly nice. Not only that, but she was also very encouraging, and such a great host. So happy to have her as my first!

Just like Willow said last season, I was always super nervous about my photos. And when I saw the post up in my blogger feed, my heart would always take this huge lurch (and it got way worse near the end), and I'm sure it's normal. ;)

I also want to say that I wouldn't have felt that lurch if the competitors last season weren't good.
It was always a challenge, and you guys were great!

Especially Bekah. It got really tough at the end, and you are incredible. I sincerely hope you join this season, but I definitely understand life. (believe me, I know crazy. ;) )

Also, as this was my first season, I may not always know what I'm doing. i apologize. help me along, please? and thank you. :)

Now, on to a bit about me...

My name is Rachel Nicole.

16, blonde hair, blue-green eyes (completely random, totally depends on what they want to be each day).

I love DIY projects, photography and (web) design.

I'm going to be taking classes next year in photography and design, and I have made the decision that that is what I want to do with my life, as well as someday have a family of my own.
Sometimes I'm crazy (as you may be able to tell when you scroll over the picture above), sometime's I'm moody, sometimes I'm just me.
I mess with coding. a lot. so if you find something quirky in these posts. yeah. that's me. #sorrynotsorry

I love beautiful things, memories, spontaneous adventures with friends (especially if it involves Starbucks and a camera), little kids, and most of all Jesus Christ. He is my rock, my savior, my all in all. I would be nowhere and nothing without Him

And guys, you may have just read that, and seen those pictures, and maybe you're like. "this girl is too crazy..." or "hashtags in a blog post, noo! my pet peeve!" or "no capitols and some capitols in a post... no. unifoooorm" or whatever, but guys, this is me. and i'm not sorry if you don't like it, because i am learning to like myself, and to live life full of love for everyone, and you can't love everyone if you're bogged down by how much you hate yourself.
so this is me.

Now that you know all that (and I guess you really don't need all that information. but whatever.

You can now sign up. I have no idea how many people I will accept. I think just until I think it's enough (or when people stop signing up).You will have 2-3 weeks to sign up, and we'll see where we are then (or before then).
UPDATE: I am leaving the total count to 30. So there are no spots left (3 spots counting the people who haven't sent me their headshots)

IMPORTANT

As with most other things, rules are important for many things, but mostly for my sanity. So please read them.

RULES OF THIS COMPETITION

1. You must use an American Girl Doll.

2. You must take all of the pictures for your contest.

3. It should be understood that if you fail to turn in your entry too late, you will be automatically eliminated.

4. Please, please please think about which doll you will enter. This contest is going to be a lot about personality, so you should know your dolls and consider which one to enter before you sign up. This also means NO SWITCHING DOLLS in the middle of the competition. Also, try to choose a doll with nicer hair. You don't want her hair to be frizzy in the middle of an important photo, where it might be noticed.

5. Editing/watermarking your photos is encouraged!! If it helps you be more creative with your picture, go ahead and do it, although if your picture looks good enough without any editing you don't have to. But at least marking your name {e.g. your name with doll name} in a corner or something is highly encouraged.

6. In some rounds, you may be allowed to do more than one picture. I'll be sure to make it clear when and when not this is acceptable. 

7. I will give out one {or two} honorable mention{s} each round to the best picture of that subject. Getting an honorable mention does not mean that you will win or get top 3. 

8. To stay in the competition, you must take clear photos, where your doll is the main subject, be creative-try to think of your own new ideas- and, say the subject is "My hobbies", I don't want it to be sitting under a tree.
