Almost ready to start!

I would really really like to have about 2 more people sign up, but I'm going to go ahead and get "Round 0" started. So, those of you who have not already sent in your headshots, please start working on them and get them in by March 5th. Remember, you are not being judged on these! I just want a pretty picture of your doll's face :)

*Also, if you know someone who has competed in the past but has not signed up yet, please let them know that the new season has started! Or if you know someone else who would like to join... I would really like to make it to 20 contestants!

Hello! Let's get Season 6 Started!

Hello, my name is Karalee and as the winner of Season 5 I will be hosting this season! I am so excited to get started and cannot wait to see all of the great pictures that everyone is going to take! 

I'll start off by directing you to then new "Rules" tab up at the top of the page. There you will find all of the information that you should need to know before getting started and you will also find an email for any questions you may have.

I am going to allow 2 weeks to sign up, but we can get started sooner if we fill up before the deadline. (Feb. 26)

You can sign up by commenting on this post with your name and your that you will be competing with's name.  As you all sign up I will edit this post and put your names on here.

As soon as you sign up you can start working on the pre-Assignment. This is a headshot of your doll that will be placed in the sidebar so we can see all of the contestants this season. But, you don't have to hurry. These will not be due until 10 or so days  after sign up is closed. ( will give you an exact day later) So feel free to sign up with a doll that is coming in the mail, if they will be here in the next week or so ;)

I know that we are going to have a whole bunch of fun this season, so sign up before you miss out!

Round 7's theme ~Last Round!~

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I kinda had a judges block :)

Do you remember last season, how Sonja had a few "photography" rounds? (click here to see that post) Instead of a picture of dolls acting something out or doing something, it's more like dolls modeling :)

I've decided to do something like that for this round, since I thought it went great last season. But I also wanted to give it a specific theme, as well. So, the theme is:

Valentines Day Photography

Here's some things I'm looking for in this picture:

1. Creativity! Little creative details and creative angles really make a great picture. 

2. Since it has a Valentines Day theme, I'd love to see some pinks, reds, or hearts, or other Valentines day things in it.

Hey everyone! You all did great this round, I loved your ideas! Here they are:

Like last time, since there's just 3 of you, I'll just say what I like about each one:

Karalee's - So sweet! I love the idea of Ruthie including the new girl instead of leaving her out. Great picture, and it fitted the theme exactly!

Iona's - Again, I love the idea! Good job, Iona!

Sonja's - The dolls look so pretty, everything is set up really well, and the idea is great. Good job!


Now comes the not fun part. I have to eliminate 2 of you :(

First I have to disqualify Jasmine for not getting her picture in. :( I'm sorry, Jasmine! I know it was difficult with the computer cord breaking and all. You did really, really well this season, congrats on making it so far.

And, Iona. This was a hard decision! You've been such a great contestant, your pictures are always so awesome, and I'll miss you in the contest :(  Congrats on getting all the way to round 6!



So...this round, round 7, is the very last. *jumps up and down in suspense*. I'll reveal the theme very soon!
