Round 5 Results

Just for the record, I was trying to post the results a few days ago but, for some reason blogger on my laptop will NOT log out of my personal email account! If anyone knows why this could be or how to fix it please contact me :)

Now, this is the part where I would normally post all of the pictures... Well, I've been trying and this computer just isn't working with me so that will have to wait. Sorry.

Nevermind :) I fixed my problem and can now show you the pretty pictuces!

Because there are only 8 people left, I am going to start changing up how I do the special mentions. This round there will be two.

1. Amerigirl with Mia: I love the picture! It has lots of great colors and looks pretty realistic.
2. Britts with Jasmine: I really like how you did it. Nice quality photo with good lighting and coloring choices.

Munch with Samantha , unfortunately, dropped out of the competition due to an overloaded schedule. She has done very well this season and I'm sure we will all miss seeing her pictures.

I have to eliminate Quinlyn and Iona, as neither of them turned in a picture for the round.

I know I've kept you waiting...

I know that I have kept you waiting, so I am super sorry to say that you are going to have to wait at least 2 more days. I have been so busy lately, but most of the excitement will be over by Saturday, and the last little bit by memorial day. I PROMISE that I will get the results up asap, I just really don't have the time right now to type it up. I'm literally shutting down the computer and jumping in the car as soon as I finish typing this :(

So beyond sorry to disappoint and keep you all waiting.

Round 5 is Due!!

Short post, because we are getting set up for my graduation party today, but I  haven't had a chance to remind you all yet. Your pictures are indeed due today, but I only have 1 or 2 so far.  Because I am so late with the reminder, I may possibly wait and accept entries through Monday. Send them in today if at all possible. I'll post later whether or not I have decided to extend the deadline.

Round 5 Theme

Hehe... Ok, so I forgot. I'm sorry, but at least I remembered today and didn't make you wait even longer!

I have to admit, I'm not really the best or most creative when the time to pick a theme comes around. I try my best to come up with fun, flexible ideas, so I hope that you all enjoy them.

The theme for Round 5 is.... *drumroll*

Heritiage/Culture/Family History

Please limit the amount of text on your entry, and just give me a beautiful creative picture showing some part of your dolls... well, look above. This doesn't mean no text, just don't overload me :) Black and white could be nice, but I'm also a sucker for rich, vibrant colors.

Do your best, and get me your photo on or before... Saturday, May 21.  I plan on posting the results either that Sunday or Monday, so be sure to get them in on time :)

Round 4 Results

Hello! Sorry I didn't get these up yesterday, I had my physics exam today and had to spend all of yesterday relearning what I had forgotten from the beginning of the year :)

Munch with Samantha- I wasn't to sure about your picture at first, but it has totally grown on me! It is such
                                        a great idea, and executed well too. I like it :)
Jasmine with Cynthia- I love the energy in the picture. The bright colors and patterns go wonderfully
                                       against the black and white. Overall, a really interesting picture :)
Sonja with Adair- Great pictures. I love the "white against black" and "black against white". Also very well
                               taken! I love the gleam in her eyes and how nice her hair looks.
 
Now... for the really, super, unbelievably hard part. I have to eliminate two people. I am very sorry to have chosen "Emma with Kit" and "Koda with Josefina". You have both done really well this season and I hope you get a chance to compete again in season 7.
 
 
I have a couple ideas for round 5, so I will most likely have one picked by Sunday. Stay tuned :)

Even though it might be a little late...

Here is your reminder to get your round 4 pictures in! I have been away on spring break and had a ginormous load of homework to catch up on yesterday so, I have only just now been able to steal away a minute to remind you that I need your pictures by the end of the day tomorrow. Also known as before Thursday morning :) I'm not picky.

I've only gotten about 5 entires so far for this round, but the one I have recieved are pretty good. Keep them coming!
